Came here as a Kid in the 90s and now with my family and it’s still so much fun! Actually the kids got double fun because they got to watch their parents struggle and un-stuck themselves through the caves! Great time for families, everything is maintained so nicely and it’s a cool escape from the summer heat!

This place was amazing! We happened to be driving through and thought we’d stop in! Very worth it! Loved Fat Man’s Misery and Lemon Squeeze! Very well maintained and nice gift shop and bathrooms!

This was our second visit to Polar Caves. It was our first visit with teenagers in the group. Polar Caves did not disappoint. It is maintained beautifully. Climbing up all the stairs and bypassing most of the caves was good for the older members of our group while the teenagers still enjoyed the caves though on this visit they were busy shooting video to post on Tik Toc. The surrounding area is beautiful! It is full of trees and giant boulders including a boulder which may be one of the biggest in the world. A special treat for us was to see a perigrine falcon who was nesting high up in the rocks and soaring above us with its distinctive call.
Go experience the caves! You can do the whole trail in an hour if everyone keeps moving. Certainly two hours gives you plenty of time.

This place totally exceeded our expectations! The network of steps and carefully crafted boardwalks to each cave highlighted the surrounding natural landscape of fern and moss covered granite boulders. Each cave had an alternate route around it for those not comfortable with exploring the climb into the rocks. The boulder maze and nature trail are not to be missed, along with the hand carved signs and animals. We were camping down the road at Riverbrook Campground on the 4th of July and easily walked to the park. Hopefully Polar Caves someday soon becomes part of the Harvest Hosts program. The parking lot would be perfect for a self-contained rv for the night after a day of exploring.
Polar Caves is a not to be missed venue in the Plymouth, NH area!

This is the most fun! We hadn't been here in 18 years and were delighted by how much it was how we remembered yet better. Climbing through the caves is so much fun, and they have a cute little duck pond there, too. We agreed if we lived closer by we would probably come once per week just for the exercise. Great place for couples, families, and anyone seeking just a little adventure (but nothing too crazy).
